| Genalguacil Village -
A Special Place
Most major European airlines fly to Malaga Airport, although there are many alternatives, by bus or train. You can pre-arrange a hire car, or rent one at the airport or in any of the major coastal towns like Malaga or Marbella. You can also catch a bus or train to Ronda and connect to a bus to the village, which leaves the Ronda Estacion des Autobuses at approximately 3pm from Monday to Friday. The most direct driving route takes you along the Mediterranean Autopista N-340 to Estepona, then along a small but scenic mountain road, over Peña Blanca pass, through the village of Jubrique. About 5 kilometers after passing through Jubrique, you will come to an intersection. Turn left and in 6 km you will reach Genalguacil. An alternate, and less bendy, route has you continuing along the N-340 to San Luis de Sabanillas, then turning north to Manilva. Continue along this road through the village of Gaucin. Do not enter the village, instead, follow the signs to Ronda: turn left to the CEPSA station and then right on the main road to Ronda. Five km along this road lies the village of Algatocin. Turn right towards Estepona, and after about 5 kilometers you will come to a junction. Go straight ahead, and after 6 more kilometers you will arrive in Genalguacil. Either of these routes will take approximately 2 ½ hours from Malaga Airport. Cómo encontrarnos
